Baton Rouge Orthopaedic Clinic (BROC) and Lafayette-based Louisiana Orthopaedic Specialists, LLC (LOS), announced their intentions to become the founding divisions of a new combined orthopedic group practice - Gulf South Orthopedic Partners, creating the largest collection of independent orthopedic service providers in Louisiana. The partnership represents a significant milestone, combining the expertise and resources of two esteemed orthopedic practices to enhance patient care and treatment outcomes, accessibility, and to preserve and protect the independent practice of Orthopedic Surgery during these dynamic times of consolidation and change. The partnership is unique in that it allows each division to continue to operate in their respective markets under their existing brands of LOS and BROC, while at the same time coordinating their combined resources and expertise to benefit all patients across a broader region.
We are excited about the formation of Gulf South Orthopedic Partners. The partnership will preserve the LOS and BROC legacies and brands and enable us to combine strengths and resources to better serve our communities with advanced orthopedic care. With shared principles regarding the delivery of high-quality patient care, the new entity will elevate the standard of musculoskeletal health services in Louisiana. Gulf South Orthopedic Partners will offer a comprehensive range of orthopedic services, including sports medicine, joint replacement, spine surgery, hand surgery, foot and ankle surgery, orthopedic oncology, orthopedic trauma, pediatric orthopedics, and rehabilitation. Gulf South Orthopedic Partners will be built by a team of experienced orthopedic surgeons, physicians, and support staff dedicated to improving mobility, function, and overall quality of life for its patients. At inception, Gulf South Orthopedic Partners will have fifty-four board-certified physicians with forty-eight being fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons.
Baton Rouge Orthopaedic Clinic is a comprehensive orthopedic clinic appropriately treating a wide variety of injuries, and illnesses, with Physical and Occupational Therapists, and interventional pain management specialists.
BROC has 38 board-certified physicians providing care at 10 convenient locations, including Baton Rouge (Bluebonnet), Brusly, Gonzales, Hammond, Walker, and Zachary.
Louisiana Orthopaedic Specialists is Acadiana’s most comprehensive musculoskeletal orthopedic practice comprised of fellowship-trained orthopedic specialists.
LOS has locations in Lafayette, Youngsville, New Iberia, and Scott, providing Acadiana’s residents with greater access to highly trained orthopedic specialists for all orthopedic conditions.
